Shaftesbury Town Council is delighted to welcome Jeanne Loader, Luke Kirton and Tim Cook on to the Council following the by-election held on Thursday 9th March.
This is an exciting time for the Council as it is looking at developing its five-year strategic plan, all three new members bring a wealth of skills and experience to the Council to help it move forward and fulfil its objectives for the Town.
Councillor John Lewer, Mayor of Shaftesbury said “We are really looking forward to working on projects together for the good of the town”.
Councillor Tim Cook said “I am honoured to have the opportunity to serve on the Council again and I am looking forward to working with Jeanne, Luke and the rest of the Council to achieve great things for the town”.
Councillor Luke Kirton said “I am looking forward to engaging with the public to
achieve what the town wants to see for the future”.
Councillor Jeanne Loader said “I am humbled by the level of public support shown to
me at the recent election, I am excited at the opportunity of local organisations and
the council working together for the greater good”.
